Rock'us Party Club band Burnin' Sensations from Ames, Iowa offer a funky, soulful flair to popular music that is hard to find elsewhere. With powerhouse vocals, energetic personalities and instrumental talent, this band is sure to keep you on your feet all night long."

Since their initial outbreak in 2004, the fire has spread to surrounding the communities of Boone, Clive, Des Moines, Jewell, Johnston, Nevada, Ogden, Sigourney, Story City, Webster City, West Des Moines, and Zearing. Local Fire Departments and health centers have been mobilized to contain this spread.

Burnin' Sensations continue to garner both fans (Accelerants) and detractors (Fire Retardants). The ranks of both these groups will swell as they expose themselves to more of the public. A Brief History of Burnin' Sensations

It's was never easy being in a band whose name sounds like either a side effect or symptomatic of indiscrete behavior. But that's the cross that the members of Burnin' Sensations have chosen to bear. Besides the seemingly unfortunate choice of a band name, who are the Burnin' Sensations? What brought them together? What made them spontaneously combustible?

In the Summer of 2003, Burnin' Sensations arose from the ashes of a band called Shakin' Katies, which shared a proclivity for apostrophes. The core of the band is comprised of Craig Olson, Tim Helgeson, Frank Karasinski, and Ron Carson. Since that time, three male and four female vocalists have guided us through four versions of the band, igniting and burning brightly in their time. Then the process is repeated with a new set of front people. Those four sets of personalities at the helm that have kept the fire burning are:
